Beware the Poverty Cult!
"Definition: When one indulges in wailing and gnashing of teeth about poor translator visibility while throwing in the towel and doing nothing oneself."
Poverty cult members complain bitterly about media depictions of translators, while never ever making the effort to correct those erroneous perceptions—even to the extent of becoming participants in their own self-destruction.
